Message OK, with the mods you have, it will makes some difference. You may actually gain 15-20BHP, not WHP. Depends on the type and diamiter of header. What helps the most with a good header setup is a good port job, on both intake and exhaust. Gasket matching your intake ports, and porting and polishing your exhaust ports to match the diamiter of your headers helps ALOT.

The stock headers on the NA Z32 are crap, like ALL stock headers. They are cast iron cheaply made and not meant for performance, not even in the slightest. They are meant for economy, not yours but the factories.

They arent that bad to change out and as long as you have the CARB sticker, and all the propper emmissions compliance stickers and stamps and what nots, then you are fine, regaurdless what the cop says. If he gives you a fix-it ticket for having 50-state(+CALI) CARB legal headers then you can take the information for your headers, and your last emmission test sheets to the court house and have the ticket thrown out. As far as this happeneing over and over again then I suggest you stop drawing attention to yourself by hanging with obvious street racers (or wannabees) I havent been to cali in about 20 years so I couldnt tell you how bad its gotten lately but I have friends who are "smog" techs and they keep me up to date on the stupidity of Cali's clean air laws.

And this is why I will NEVER go back to cali again, that and crap fuel, whats this 91octane? I wouldnt even run that in my '66 Impalla. Oh well thats for a different subject.
